There's no reason to complain, had a relaxing stay during a long business trip. Enjoyed hotel's stunning location and very amiable staff, it met every demand. The family double room I stayed in was warm with a shared bathroom in the middle. Location: the venue was not far from skiing and concerts and Pine Hill and mountains.

the good, the bad, and the unexpected
This charming hotel instantly was like home thanks to the warm hospitality and good breakfast provided by the owner and his daughter. With friendly pets around and scenic trails nearby, it was the country experience I craved. Expect antique decor and a lively, cute atmosphere. Truly a hidden gem worth revisiting!

A cozy gem in the Catskills
The Colonial Inn welcomed us with warmth and its charming antique decor. Breakfast seemed like home, and chatting with Steve, the owner.
The rooms were quite cold, and the heating seemed inadequate. We also noticed some areas required maintenance, which affected the overall charm.

So I stayed in a Family Double Room for a night. The decor is wild-definitely gives off that old-school charm with lots of antiques everywhere. The bed was super comfy, but the room itself felt a bit neglected, like it could use some serious TLC. You've got old wallpaper, and yeah, it was clean, but it just felt dated. Heard a lot of noise from the hall, a little annoying. Still, the vibe of the place is kind of cool, especially if you like quirky spots.

Couples seeking a cozy, unique stay
The owner Steve and his daughter were really good hosts. We enjoyed a very warm breakfast cooked to order that really set the tone for a lovely day.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly , but given the ambiance and service, it felt acceptable.

I loved the antique decor, it was like stepping into a time capsule. The location in the Catskill Mountains is amazing. Close proximity to great walking trails made exploring easy and enjoyable.
The room could definitely use some updates, as it felt a bit neglected overall.

A Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite!
I can't recommend this place enough! The buffet is to die for-fantastic ribs and pasta. The bread pudding is lovely. An early morning surprise was meeting a friendly dog in the dining area. I'd suggest arriving early to enjoy the ambiance. It's a good spot!

The antique decor brings a sense of history and charm that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. Cozy sitting areas, including a porch with comfortable chairs, invite you to relax and enjoy the peaceful area.
Some areas could use a bit of upkeep, and the lack of modern amenities like Wi-Fi may not cater to everyone's needs, especially if you're used to more convenient access.

The historic charm and eclectic decor brought the essence of old-world artistry alive. Breakfast reminded me of home, served family-style with good conversation. A minor maintenance issue with the heating added a touch of authenticity but didn't detract from my overall experience.
